Make Calls Using Wi-Fi on iPhone
Stay Connected Even When Your Signal is Weak
How to Enable Wi-Fi Calling
With Wi-Fi Calling, you can make and receive calls even when your iPhone has a low cellular signal. Here's how to enable it:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap on Phone.
- Tap on Wi-Fi Calling.
- Turn on Wi-Fi Calling.
Note: Wi-Fi Calling is only available on certain carriers and iPhone models.
Using Wi-Fi Calling
Once Wi-Fi Calling is enabled, it will automatically activate when your cellular signal is weak. You can dial and receive calls just like you normally would. However, you must be connected to a Wi-Fi network for Wi-Fi Calling to work.
From a user experience perspective, Wi-Fi calling behaves just like a regular phone call. You dial a number, and the phone rings on the other end. You can talk and listen as usual.
Wi-Fi Calling is a great way to stay connected even when you're in an area with a weak cellular signal. It's also a great option for making calls while traveling, as it can help you avoid roaming charges.
