American singer, dancer, actress, and model Cassie, born Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, has reached a settlement in a federal lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Cassie, who performs under the mononym Cassie, filed the lawsuit in Federal District Court in Manhattan just one day before reaching the settlement.

In the lawsuit, Cassie alleged that Combs, whom she met when she was 19 years old, engaged in a pattern of control and abuse that impacted her personal and professional life.

The settlement agreement between Cassie and Combs remains confidential, and the terms have not been disclosed to the public.
